01. April 2025 Memo regarding the Procurement Restriction Policy (U.S. Businesses)
This memo was distributed through your regional office back in April 2025. It describes the new procurement rules that have come into effect for designated Broader Public Sector (BPS) organizations that received public funds of 10 million dollars or more in the previous fiscal year from the Government of Ontario.
Note: TPRs that are funded $10M+ shall no longer use ministry funds to procure U.S. providers for behavioural restraint training, unless they seek an exemption as described in the procurement guide.
Here is a list of the approved training programs on the prevention and use of physical restraints for Adult DS (updated 2016), which included both Canadian and U.S. providers.

04. September 2021 Memo regarding enhanced compliance expectation
Note: The section on COVID-19 Operational Guidelines: Re-Opening Adult Day Supports 2.0 is no longer applicable. As a reminder, service agencies providing MCCSS-funded adult day supports are also required to adhere to provincial requirements under applicable legislation and health guidance related to group sizes, IPAC measures etc.
